NightHawk Radiology Services Chooses TeraRecon’s Aquarius
Technology for New Global 3D Initiative

Radiology (NASDAQ: NHWK), the world’s leading provider of radiology
services and solutions, has chosen TeraRecon as its technology platform
for delivering image post-processing capabilities to its more than
1,300 contracted hospitals in the U.S. Through this partnership, NightHawk
believes it is positioned to become the leading provider of 3D imaging
services for radiology, cardiology and referring physicians, thereby
exposing thousands of radiologists and physicians to the quality and
benefits of TeraRecon 3D post-processed images. With the recent adoption
of 64-slice multi-detector CT scanners, many radiology departments
are in need of after-hours 3D post processing and NightHawk is capable
of offering this service at any hour of the night or day. Radiology
departments can elect to have their cardiac CTA studies read by one
of NightHawk’s affiliated radiologists, have the renderings
created and returned for their interpretation, or may wish to only
have the non-coronary interpretations performed.
