Nishimoto Sangyo ties up with TeraRecon
in diagnostic imaging systems
San Mateo, CA--October
18, 1999: Nishimoto
Sangyo has entered into a strategic business tie-up with TeraRecon,
Inc., a US venture company engaged in research and development of
medical image information systems, for the development and marketing
of software and hardware in the field of diagnostic imaging. Nishimoto
Sangyo has decided to tie tip with TeraRecon to prepare for the advent
of the "three-dimensional diagnostic imaging era." Initially, it will
market IiVS-320 and DiVS-320, integral, new-generation imaging systems
with three-dimensional imaging functions developed by TeraRecon. Since
TeraRecon has technologies necessary to develop next-generation electronic
medical charts, Nishimoto Sangyo intends to enter that field in the
next phase.
